Human dignity and
the right to a decent life
Mələkxanım Rəhimova is a lawyer, educator and doctoral researcher. She is the author of more than 40 academic articles published in international and national journals. Her articles are indexed in international abstracting and indexing databases. Her paper “Heydər Əliyev ölkədə sosial siyasətin yaradıcısı kimi” (Heydar Aliyev as the founder of social policy in the country) was indexed in SCOPUS in February 2026 and was received with great interest by an international readership.
Her research areas are international law, human rights, information law and tourism law.
She is currently continuing her dissertation research on “The international legal foundations of the right to a decent life and their implementation in the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
